I have a rather dusty secret… 🤫
Hello Friend,
I have a confession…
There’s a very dusty piano sitting in my house right now. And for a long time, every time I looked at it, that little voice in my head would whisper:
“You’re falling behind. You should have it together. Other people do — why can’t you?”
It felt like proof that I wasn’t doing enough.
But here’s what I finally realized — it’s just a dusty piano. It’s morally neutral. It doesn’t define me as a mom, a business owner, or a human being. The only reason it made me feel like I was failing was because I gave it meaning it didn’t deserve.
And maybe you do the same thing.
Maybe for you, it’s the pile of laundry, the dishes in the sink, or that unopened email from two weeks ago. And instead of giving yourself grace, you use it as evidence that you’re not keeping up.
So today, I’m inviting you to release that pressure.
In this post, I’m sharing:
✨ Why we attach guilt to unfinished tasks (and how to stop)
✨ Simple ways to reframe your thoughts when overwhelm hits
✨ Practical strategies to handle home, work, and life — on your own terms
Because you’re not failing — you’re prioritizing.
So, tell me — what’s one area in your life where you’ve been too hard on yourself? Can you reframe it with a little more kindness today?
Hit reply and let me know.
